For the start of our internship program "Student Track” (f/m/d) on 01/10/2024 we are looking for you for a 6-months internship at DB InfraGO AG in Frankfurt (Main). If you want to proactively prepare for your professional future, our Student Track program offers you the perfect complement to your studies, with practical experience and the opportunity for personal development. After the end of the program, many doors are open to you, and you can, for example, continue working with us as a working student until the end of your studies or write your thesis. This will enable you to set the course for direct entry or your trainee program with us and actively advance your DB career. A 6-months internship program with several components awaits you: joint kick-off event with the other program participants, workshop for personal and professional development, practical experience in several areas to build your personal network, individual support from a competent mentor during the program and a discussion about your prospects at the end of your internship. You can find more information about the program here: https://db.jobs/de-de/dein-einstieg/studierende/student-track-programm Deine Aufgaben: - You will work closely with our experienced team of engineers and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in developing, testing, and optimizing mechatronic systems - Collaborative Project Work: Assist in designing, developing, and testing mechatronic systems in collaboration with our software & engineering team - Prototyping and Testing: Engage in hands-on prototyping and adherence to project specifications and quality standards - Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, testing procedures, and results to contribute to the knowledge base of the team - Problem-Solving: Work on identifying and troubleshooting issues in systems, proposing and implementing effective solutions - Your office will be in Frankfurt am Main, where you will be present at least 60% of the time Dein Profil: - You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Digital Engineering or any related field - You are proficient in a popular programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, Python) - Previous experiences and knowledge in Ontology will be beneficial - Knowledge of graph theory and databases as well as CAD software for design and modelling purposes would be a plus - Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to learning as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills are your strengths - Moreover, self-organization and the ability to work independently are essential skills A cover letter is not necessary for your application.
