Wiking Helikopter Service GmbH, an exciting and expanding european helicopter operator, with various domestic and Europe based operations is delighted to be recruiting a Deputy Accountable Manager. Our organization has an excellent reputation within the Europe Offshore Wind and Oil&Gas and helicopter aviation market.This appointment is to strengthen our leadership team as part of our further expansion plan at different places. We would like to assign the following position as soon as possible: ► Deputy Accountable Manager (m/f/i) (unlimited full-time) ● As Deputy Accountable Manager you should be ready to participate in the further development of our expanding company with focus on operations responsibility, willing to be flexible in execution of defined duties, being member of the leadership team to achieve our common goals without compromising on our high level of safety and quality standards. ● Reporting to the Accountable Manager, the Deputy Accountable Manager will be responsible for all of our operational activities and performances, in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements, financial budgets and the company’s procedures. ● The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective management and growth of the operator. This includes and encompasses oversight of the key dimensions, including Maintenance & Engineering, Safety, Air Operations, and Ground Operations. In this regard, this position is responsible for our operational performance, with a direct and key influence on the financial performance and evolution of the operator. ► Minimum Skills and Experience ● A business professional with at least ten years of senior management level experience within civil (preferable helicopter) aviation, flight operations, maintenance, safety management or quality management role. ● Minimum experience: Five years in a senior management role, managing teams and with responsibility for budgets, performance management and operational compliance. ● Previous experience as a post-holder would be an advantage. ● Ideally, a deep knowledge and thorough experience in the operational areas, including flight operations, maintenance, quality, safety and operations management. ● Ideally, a deep knowledge and thorough experience in the operational areas, including flight operations, maintenance, quality, safety and operations management. ● Knowledge of applicable EASA regulations and requirements, relevant to the operations and aircraft maintenance requirements. ● Candidate must be able to communicate fluent in German language. ● Proven track record in managing teams and medium to large sized projects. ● Ability to management and drive change throughout an organization, maintaining suitable high level of effective problem solving and collaboration with all stakeholders. ● Strong discipline to upholding performance standards, organizational objectives and goals. ● Proven, success leading an Operational unit through a collaborative, unifying approach that builds on teamwork and dedication to Company goals and principles. ● Bachelor’s degree in, Aviation, Engineering, Business or a related field would be beneficial. ● Master’s degree or related advanced degree would be beneficial. ► Benefits ● We are offering a competitive salary. ● motivated, passioned team ● competence, career development plan ► If you are interested in this responsible position and meet the essential requirements, we would like to get to know you.
